On the Train
Following the track re-alignment circa 1965/6, a canopy was built over the platform.

The train only ran in the afternoon, from about 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Many was the time, after lunch, that I stood by the gate, eagerly waiting for the station to open.

Enjoying the Ride
This was on the long straight section which overlooked the adjacent golf course. It was here that the driver changed gear and the train sped along!
